DSC_1919We got the keys for WildFire CrossFit 5 years ago yesterday.

It has been an incredible journey so far, and we have a lot store for the next 5 years!

Thanks to all of the Coaches and Community members who make WildFire such a special place to be.

A home away from home. A place where people consider you to be family.

Today, we get to help the CrossFit Community that has been affected by the hurricanes with Helen for Houston.

“Helen” is a traditional CrossFit WOD (Workout of the Day):

Helen
3 Rounds For Time Of:
400M Run
21 Kettlebell Swings
12 Pull Ups

We will be doing different versions of this workout in each of our Classes today.

The cool part is that there are thousands of other people, across the world, who will be doing this exact workout. This is one of many events that helps us stay connected to the greater CrossFit Community.

If you would like to follow along, this is a great workout you can do without any equipment:

At Home/No Equipment “Helen”

3 Rounds For Time Of:

400M Run
21 Air Squats
12 Push Ups

For the run, most people don’t have exact distances at home. 400M is a quarter of a mile. To make it easy, just pick a distance (around the block, end of the street and back, etc.). It should take between 90 second and 2 minutes. You can even run for 45 seconds away, and then turn around and run back. Use that same point you ran to each round.

We will be going LOVE on Facebook at around 9:35am and then again at about 10:15am
